Advanced Biology is an overview of Anatomy and Physiology. In this course you will explore various body systems and understand the overall role of how they work together to keep you alive!

Advice to first-year medical students.

Some important things to note are:
1. This is an assessment based course (you will only earn points for assessments)
2. There is no points for homework.
3. You will keep a portfolio/binder chronicling your learning experiences throughout each unit.
4. There are a lot of resources out there to help you...TAKE ADVANTAGE!!

Field Trips:
There are multiple field trips designed to enhance your experience in this course. However, you must qualify to attend all fieldtrips.
Here are some requirements (The final decision is based on the instructor):
1. Maintain a minimum of 85% in class
2. Have no in or out of school suspensions
3. Come prepared to class EVERYDAY!
4. Be interested in the Health Career Field
*Remember, fieldtrips are a privilege and not a right.
